Medicare ONLY covers manipulation of the spine when it is medically necessary. 

Medicare does not cover:

• Initial or re-examination (it is required by law to perform these exams)

• X-rays or other imaging

• Soft  tissue

• E-STIM

• Maintenance or wellness adjustments

At Riutta Chiropractic, we are a Par Medicare Provider. This means that you pay your co-pay and the cost of any additional non-covered service at the time of care, and then we will bill Medicare.

The fee schedule is as follows: 

• Medicare New Patient Assessment: $80.21-92.51

• Medicare Follow-Up: $5.21-17.51*

• Re-examination: $25

• HMP/STIM/Soft Tissue/Cupping: $10

*Each year, most Medicare Plans have a deductible (typically $283). This means that until this deductible is reach you will be required to pay the full treatment amount ($26.05-37.56).
